Project Description

The project began with the demolition of the outdated vehicle maintenance facilities on site and the construction of a new transport workshop which was designed as a single-story building. It featured a steel frame construction, which is typical for durable, large-span buildings, allowing for an open and flexible interior space suitable for vehicle maintenance. The upgrade wasn’t limited to just the building itself. Ancillary site works included improvements to the surrounding infrastructure, such as access roads, drainage systems, and possibly the installation of new utilities to support the workshop. As the site was a fully operational military facility during construction, special care was taken to protect existing buildings and structures, including the boundary walls. Public access to the surrounding areas was maintained throughout the project.
