Project Description

Parnell Plaza involved constructing a multi-storey building in the heart of Limerick city centre, comprising a casino, museum, cinema, and office space. Throughout construction the retail units on all sides remained opened along with the existing casino onsite which remained fully operational. This necessitated the construction of a temporary tunnel to allow temporary access to the building.  This development was part of the upgrade of Parnell Street and Colbert Train Station at that time.

Works included reinforced concrete frames, ground beams, and in-situ concrete floor slabs. The project was completed on schedule and within budget, adhering to stringent health and safety requirements.
